Test Tirza before you go live

How to do a test call and exactly what you'll hear โ€” plus: what does a green test call mean?

Test Tirza before you go live

You don't just loose Tirza on your clients. First you do a test call. It's required โ€” the "Go LIVE" button only unlocks once you've done one.

Why test?

  • You hear exactly what a client hears
  • You check your opening hours and services are set up right
  • You get a feel for whether Tirza sounds the way you want

Step 1 โ€” Go to your dashboard

Log in. On the home page you'll see a big button Do a test call.

Step 2 โ€” Pick a scenario

Choose one of three common client questions:

  • "I'd like to book an appointment for tomorrow" (booking)
  • "What does treatment X cost?" (FAQ)
  • "I have an urgent question for you personally" (callback request)

This sets what the test caller asks. Want to push it, pick scenario 1.

Step 3 โ€” Let yourself be called

Click Start test call. Within 10 seconds your phone rings. Pick up.

What you'll hear: a test voice pretending to be a client. Tirza answers them.

Step 4 โ€” Listen carefully

Pay attention to these things:

  • Does Tirza start with your business name? ("Hello, you're speaking to the AI receptionist of [name].")
  • Does she sound warm and clear?
  • Does she know your services? (for example "gel nails 60 minutes")
  • Does she book inside your opening hours? (no Sundays if you're closed)
  • Does she say at the end: "I'll send you a confirmation by text"?

Something off? No panic โ€” tweak it in your settings and run the test again.

Step 5 โ€” Review the result

After the test call your dashboard shows a summary:

  • Duration: how long the call was
  • Outcome: booked / callback request / hung up
  • Transcript: word for word what was said
  • Test score: green (all good) ยท amber (something to check) ยท red (stop, don't go live)

What does green mean?

Green โ€” Tirza did everything right: named your business, booked inside opening hours, promised a confirmation. You can press Go LIVE.

Amber โ€” something works, but with a note. For example: the calendar check took a while. Read the note, decide if you want to fix it or go live anyway.

Red โ€” something isn't working. For example: your calendar isn't connected, or you haven't set opening hours. Fix it first, then test again.

Step 6 โ€” Do it once more (really)

One test call is enough, but we recommend two:

  1. One with the "booking" scenario
  2. One with the "FAQ" scenario

Costs you 4 minutes together and gives you the confidence it all holds up.

Go LIVE

Happy? Press Go LIVE. Your phone gets forwarded to Tirza (follow your forwarding article if needed) and from now on she picks up.

First real client? You'll get a text + email with a summary straight away, so you hear how it went too.

Problems?

"Test call doesn't come in" Check your phone isn't on silent. Or that your number is right in your dashboard (Settings โ†’ Profile).

"Tirza sounds odd / tinny" First time, Tirza uses the default voice. On Pro you can clone your own voice later. No Pro plan = the default voice.

"Tirza says the wrong opening hours" Go to Settings โ†’ Opening hours, check the times, save and test again.
